Dream Big

Happy Sunday friend!  I'm playing along over at CAS(e) this Sketch!  Tis the season for proms, graduations and lots of end of the school year fun events....and I am in need of graduation cards for a few of our friends children and I thought this sketch was perfect. I turned it upside down and thought it would be fun to make it look like the caps were all thrown in the air.

I can't even begin to tell you happy I was to have a solid couple of hours crafting away yesterday. It has been way too long since that has happened. Here's to lots of crafty time for all of us!

And here's a few pictures of Jonathon and friends heading off to their junior prom last night. They had a great time!

Time Out: Thank You

Boy oh boy the weeks are just flying by...It's hard to believe that Ryan is done with his sophomore year of college and Jonathon is heading into his senior year of high school. This time next year we'll be getting ready for Jonathon's graduation!

But enough about that I'm here to share a card for the current Time Out challenge.  Our challenge is to be inspired by the following words:

As you can see I keyed off the floral words and this thank you went to a dear friend who volunteers a lot for show choir.  The frame was pre-printed from Taylored Expressions and the stamps and sentiment are from our sponsor, Stamplorations - Frames and Florals - you all know how much I love a floral set and this one is no exception - so many awesome stamps to mix and match.

This challenge is sponsored by the fabulous STAMPlorations

Our winner, chosen by the Design Team will get a $15 gift voucher to spend in their store. Plus we will pick a random winner who will get a bag of goodies from STAMPlorations.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge Kristina. Be sure to stop on over to her blog and be inspired by her gorgeous cards!

I'd love to see you playing with us over at Time Out!

Happy 21st Birthday Ryan!

Popping in to wish Ryan a happy 21st birthday!  He is back at OU celebrating with his friends...and I'm praying that this morning isn't too bad for him!  It was so nice to have him home this past week. We're so proud of the young man he is becoming...working hard at his music production and his classes.  Love, love, love him with all my heart.

In addition to sharing his card I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites of him over the years!  Not sure how I am old enough to have a 21 year old.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing mom's out there!  I hope you've had a day of spoiling by your family.  We had lunch at my brother's and it was super relaxing...followed by a nap this afternoon and a trip to Kohl's for Collin because he has officially outgrown just about everything he owns!  I made this card back on my stamping weekend away back in March.  Not enough crafting going on lately but I am hoping to change that very, very soon!

Ryan was home for a week in between the end of spring semester and going back to OU for a summer class and working. Collin is off to Washington DC this week for his 8th grade trip...and I have a feeling these family photos will be fewer and fewer as everyone continues to grow up. So I certainly cherish them.

Time Out: Happy Birthday

Happy Friday eve my friends!  I'm happy to be popping in with a card for our current challenge over at Time Out!  We have a fun challenge:  Wild!  Now my card isn't super wild but I like the fun chevron arrows and thought it was a bit wild.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Winnie & Walter and I'm using their gorgeous stamps In a Word - Happy and Scenery - Stripes 2 on my card.  I was so very luck to sit across from Shea at a stamping retreat a couple months ago and use tons of Winnie & Walter stamps. Shea is so sweet and very funny. I love that I've gotten to meet her not once but twice now and hope to see her again soon!

So come play along with us over at Time Out!  And you could be lucky enough to win a $25 gift card to Winnie & Walter.  Also we have the incredible Darnell - who is such an awesome blog friend - her designs will be sure to amaze pop on over and play along.

Time Out: Love You

It's time for a reminder post for our current challenge over at Time Out.  The challenge is:

And we have an optional challenge of a single layer card. I'm normally all about the one layer card but decided to go for a bit of a layer with this card. I love, love, love how this turned out!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Uniko. My card features the stamps from their Originally Organic set. I loved coloring gorgeous floral bloom. And finished things off with a touch of sequins and twine.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Kimberly. I am a long time fan of Kimberly's beautiful work.  Be sure to pop on over to Time Out and to Kimberly's blog at Wienerhoneymooners.
